During the month of February, 4th graders were tasked with finding 3-5 recipes that appeal to them or are special in some way. Perhaps, your student always enjoys cooking with a favorite relative and they want to share the recipe with us! Perhaps, your student likes getting inventive in the kitchen and something turned out especially tasty! Share it with us!
Due Thursday, March 2nd, students need to bring in (or email) 3-5 recipes including ingredients and directions. If they can type and email them, that is super! If not, we will be using class time to practice our typing skills and the recipes can be typed them.
Students need to explain in a sentence or 2 why he or she chose at least one of their recipes. We are working on personal narratives and this helps.
You may send in a few pictures to go with your recipes. (You do not have to send in pictures of the student or the food.)
Late assignment rules apply! A late assignment drops one whole letter grade each day that it is late! Please use time wisely and be prepared!
We will put together and print a 4th-grade class cookbook! For those students interested in raising money for their Camp Timber-Lee trip, we will also be selling these cookbooks for $10 each*!
*Details are forthcoming!!
